SC Villa needed a late equalizer to salvage a point against Entebbe UPPC FC on Wednesday at Kadiba FUFA Stadium.
Substitute Andrew Otim came to the rescue of the Jogoos, scoring seven minutes from time. Fazil Tumwine aka Chopla had given the visitors the lead, midway through the first half.
The League game was the first for SC Villa at their new home, Kadiba this season.
In a closely contested game, it was Tumwine who opened the scores, tucking home in the 28th minute to give Entebbe a lead at the break.
They held onto for the larger part of the game, defending resiliently but the home side were able to level matters in the 83rd minute.
The result meana Villa continue to search for their first win this season and remain second from bottom with a single point from two games, while Entebbe UPPC climb to fifth on four points after three outings.
Matchday Three action continues on Thursday with two fixtures. Buhimba Saints will take on Kitara in the Bunyoro derby while KCCA will host Lugazi.
