Ntugasaze Football Club became the latest side in the 2025-26 FUFA Big League to be promoted to the highest tier football division in the country, the Star Times Uganda Premier League (UPL)
This followed a 2-1 hard fought home victory over Bunyaruguru United.
James Jarieko notched a brace for Ntugasaze who attained 50 points, good enough to seal the tier league promotional slot.
Barack Bwanaheri scored the consolation for Bunyaruguru United.
Ntugasaze thus joins the earlier two confirmed sides Blacks Power and Kigezi Home Boyz.
The fourth slot will be fought for by Paidha Black Angels or Kataka.
The final set of games will be played this Saturday, 30th May 2026 at various grounds.
