Express Football Club a.k.a “Mukwano G’wa Bangi” will become the first direct beneficiary of the the FUFA Clubs Pro Agenda programme.
The development has been revealed by the FUFA President Moses Magogo on Thursday.
In a statement, Magogo who is serving his second term in office at the helm of the football governing body in the country expressed how the federation is willing to help Express following a successful application process.
FUFA has received an application for the FUFA Clubs Pro Agenda from the management of FC and has approved the application.
Express may be experiencing difficult moments of sporting results coinciding with the high riding of rivals SC Villa and KCCA FC but FC is FC. They are a continental and century brand and a sleeping giant
The Clubs Pro Agenda is a programme designed by FUFA to help its member clubs professionalize and commercialize as well.
At the end of the programme, FC (Express) will be running a 5-Year strategic plan which will improve the Governance, Administration, Finances and consequently Sporting Success.
The glory of Express must be restored for a better league and national team.
As a Villa fan the joy is beating a strong Express.
At FUFA, we have drawn strategies, implemented them, professionalized leading to Commercialization which earned us sporting success.
Yes we shall do it at Express. Our history is that we walk our talk.
Let the entire football community support FUFA and the current Express management on this cause.

Express has struggled for form, losing games home and away. At the start of the season, former head coach Mathias Lule stepped aside following non payment of salaries.
In came Douglas Bamweyana who handled the club for 9 games. Legends Samuel Kawalya and Hassan ‘Owemammba’ Mubiru then took over for one game, winning 2-1 against Proline at Lugogo.

The current head coach, Shafiq Bisaso was handled the mantle and has lost in his three games as tactician.
Under Bisaso, Express fell 1-0 to Police at their once intimidating Muteesa II Wankulukuku fortress, lost by the same margin away to rivals Sports Club Villa Jogoo in Masaka and lately to Soana at Kavumba Recreational Stadium.
The club has managed just 11 points in 13 games as administrators, technical team, players and the famous Red Army is seeking for quick solutions to avert the worrying mess.
They have conceded 11 goals and managed to score 8 for themselves with striker Daniel ‘Muzeei’ Sserunkuma netting a lion’s share of them (5).
The two weeks’ league break (for CECAFA and COSAFA U-20 tournaments) could come as a much breather strategy for the Red Eagles to hurriedly sort their house and bring parity back at Wankulukuku.
When the league returns on 19th December 2017, Express will play host to Vipers at Wankulukuku stadium.
Express F.C club chairperson Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi is reportedly said to have sought for a two months sick leave meaning Hajji Kamudaasi handles the administrative issues and daily routine at the club.
